Court Access Procedures

Please read the following information about court access at the LJTC.

A recent incident on the tennis courts has reminded us of the importance of making sure all members and guests are familiar with our court access procedures and use them congenially and fairly.  For your reference, please read the Club’s existing Rules and regulations

A committee has been formed to examine the court access procedures currently in use at the La Jolla Tennis Club.  The committee will consider adopting changes designed to enhance equality and fairness in court access as well as camaraderie and mutual enjoyment of the tennis courts.  The committee welcomes any and all suggestions for possible changes to the existing system. Importantly, the existing court access system or any adopted changes to it should:

  1. Be self-administering by the players,
  2. Allow equal access to all members and guests, and
  3. Not permit any individual or group of individuals to dominate any particular court.

If you have any questions or suggestions for the committee, please email them

We are looking forward to making sure all members and guests have a positive experience at the La Jolla Tennis Club.
