Once again the San Diego Tennis Hall of Fame will honor five individuals who made significant and important contributions to tennis. The festivities will begin at 4 PM, Sat., Aug. 23rd, on the Maureen Connolly Stadium Court at Balboa Tennis Club in Morley Field with the awards presentation ceremony open to everyone. The HOF 2008 class includes Franklin Johnson, William J. "Bill" Kellogg, Jean Kremm, James "Jim" Perley, and Brian Teacher.

A catered dinner buffet will follow the induction ceremony. Seating for dinner on the lawn is limited.

La Jolla Tennis Club has nine courts nestled in the heart of the La Jolla Village close to the beautiful Pacific Ocean. It is home to one of California's oldest and most prestigious tennis tournaments, the Annual La Jolla Tennis Championships which has been held continuously since 1917. La Jolla Tennis Club was presented the 2006 Tournament of the Year Award by The San Diego District Tennis Association. See the results & pictures of the 2008 Tournament on the News Page.

JR. Tournament: June 23 - 27, 2008
Open & Senior Events: June 27 - 29 and July 5, 6.
The Family events are June 30 - July 4. The Super Senior events are July 2 - 6.
